Hola! My name is Melanie Morales and Latinas On The Go’s Brand Manager. I was born in Bogota, Colombia and immigrated here to the United States when I was about 5 years old. I am forever thankful for being an immigrant in America and today a citizen.
By day, you can find me building chatbots, helping wellness brands with social media marketing, or designing websites. By night, I’m typically working on my second business venture or enjoying a nice hot cup of chocolate and listening to my favorite podcasts.
Since joining Latinas On The Go, the most rewarding part has been being able to see our growth, followed closely by meeting such an incredible community here in Tampa Bay. The reason I came onboard as Brand Manager was because I saw the fire that Sarahi, our founder, had and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. In the beginning it was just a vision, and as we began and I saw the growth it excited me even more.
I graduated from FIU with my psychology degree and also really enjoy staying active by going to the gym, going on walks in my neighborhood in downtown Tampa and just spending time with friends when I am not working. My family is my biggest motivation for everything I do, and my goal is to leave a legacy of love and inspiration.

I’ve lived in Los Angeles and Toronto, Canada
I’ve been skydiving and bungee jumping off a bridge
I work and help train Artificial Intelligence chatbots!
